This comments shows the philosophy of this build. Its main purpose is to be an ass. Great job wasting your ally and your opponent's time. That's why this type of build is usually met with flames, albeit polite ones.

I think the main point is that playing such a turtle build (read: 100% defensive, unable to kill anybody, which purpose is to piss off all the opponents and to win by default) is not very hard, but not very interesting either. It's not a question of sportsmanship or fair-play, it's just against rule #1 of competitive play: you play to win, not to win by default after 50 minutes of griefing.

As I said, I scrapped the build and have moved on.
It's a no skill turtle build, granted. But good luck finding
anyone who actually applies skill (re: IWAY, trappers, boon balls,
etc, etc, etc) in PvP and HoH anymore. It's not skill, it's simply
a large number of people using the same build all in a group.
The only thing that remotely requires any effort there anymore
is a bunch of spikers being able to count to three on TS.
It's a different way to win, nothing more. You think I'm just blowing
smoke try going to HoH and using a PUG and see what kind of groups
you face.
Humbly request lock.

its funny as hell when lets say...
you have just lost thunderhead keep for the 7th time today in a record time of 3 min in the last try
and you want to relive frustration....
MAKE OTHERS MAD!
Well personaly I'v beaten that mission in 1 try... but I'v heard of stories where people suck at this mission?(just an example)...
Eh I used the 55 + arua of lich and people would do 1dmg to me...
that was fun... never really had enoff energy to outright use dark arua and other damage dealers... but people where cheerign me on.
I bet you havnt had you party members cheer you on for a 1 vs 4 and the opposing party is like OH I SHOULDHA BROUGHT MY REVOMES ENCHANTS DURRR (W/Mo's)...
FrogDevourer have you ever listen to the song... "Im an Asshole" by Denis Leary? some know who have done this and get mad; some know this and get a laugh.
Also he wasnt defy'n your Play to Win rule, his name was even "Test One Two Three" 1 round with this build was a success, he met his goal of no one could kill him off, and he's sharing the info, theres nothing wrong with that.
now if there was a 8V8 GvG all of them like this thats totaly inane.

To win HoH takes at least a little skill, to hold it a long time takes much more skill.
To win often in Tombs/Team Arena/GvG takes skill.

And they get beaten often.

So tell me: why do I see always the same people win HoH? Why do I see so many PuGs fail? Maybe it is because it takes skill to win?
You try to defend your griefer build, that is ok. But you have to accept that you are only bitching people in random arena with that. If you want to win and deserve it, you have to try. And considering your posts, it looks like you are fed up with loosing all the time. Yes, than this griefer build is good for you. In Random Arena most people are stupid or testing a build, so it is very likely noone got interrupts, energy drains, ench strips,... so it is an 'easy' win for you, if you want to wait 50 min for 25 faction.
It is really not hard to win HoH every now and then, but you need some basic skills for that. And considering you see the same people win over and over again you should conclude that it takes skill to do so. because otherwise people won't be to do that.
Funny thing: I never met a person saying that he is an asshole and is proud of it. I guess you not only lack GW skill but also the basic social skills.

yknow you could take this build, get rid of junk like magnetic aura, blood renewal, ether renewal and something else and instead add in obsidian flesh, stone daggers and obs flame, thus making this build into mine
that way you are as much of a bitch about tanking, only you can actually hit people for more than 10 damage. idk just sayin

Hello? Anyone read my posts?
This is a very good way to farm physicaly attacking creatures such as minotaurs and griffons in Augury, just replace a few skill here and there.
Or even more simply: Just take a look at my build a few posts up.
This works very well.
You might not be invicible in PvE but it pulls it's own weight for a while at least.

Very nicely actually (if you can keep your defences up all the time).
I've tried and if you can keep it up you can farm solo there. It take *ALOT* of practice but it's do-able.
**Based on my build or a variation therof of course**

Personally, I've always liked the Riposte warrior, and it has the advantage of killing Eonwe.
12+1+3 tactics, 12+1 sword
Gladiator's Defence, Shield Stance, Disciplined Stance, Deadly Riposte, Riposte, Healing Signet, "Watch Yourself!", Rez Signet.

yeah, but 30+ minutes for a 4x4? oh man... I see what you are saying and you have accomplished it well, but isn't there a FASTER way. If you could draw all the attacks and have 3 other damage dealers then yes, but taking 30 minutes to kill 4 opponents after your 3 teammates are dead I just don't get.

This build is idiotic. Interrupts will own it. Mass degen will cripple it. In fact any caster with substantial amounts of armor ignoring damage will own it. You can just kiss your ass good bye should you encounter a necro dark bomber. Dark aura + dark pact + touch of agony will destroy you in a little over 10 seconds. Likewise an IW mesmer, or pretty much any high dps mesmer/necro build will drop you like a sack of bricks. You don't even need something specced for anti-caster (like arredondo's soul barbs + ww + power spike build).
Even leaving the griefing issue aside this build is awful.
